🟢 Objective

Designers & Builders was launched in 2025 as the next evolution of BuilderGrowth’s community-first model, following the success of Woodpreneur. The aim was to create a media-first brand and platform for architects, designers, and builders, with a focus on storytelling, systems, and technology.

At the time, no prominent media or community hub existed that authentically served this audience while integrating the tools of the future—like AI, creator monetization, and public building.

🛠 What We Did

1. Built and branded the Designers & Builders platform from scratch
   
   
2. Launched a theme-style Instagram page to reshare and spotlight the community
   
   
3. Created a newsletter to share insights, interviews, and opportunities
   
   
4. Developed the Designers & Builders Podcast, hosted by a renowned landscape architect (co-host + collaborator)
   
   
5. Began a “build in public” initiative with the co-host as she launches her own design studio
   
   
6. Began developing paid products, consulting offers, and community-driven media
   
   
7. Implemented AI research + insights systems to guide offer development
   
   
8. Created the foundation for a scalable ecosystem rooted in thought leadership and aligned collaboration
   
   

🧠 Strategic Process

BuilderGrowth applied the same flywheel proven in the Woodpreneur community:
Start with media → grow community → listen deeply → create paid offers → scale impact.

By combining this with AI tools and a build-in-public narrative, the brand is positioned to become a trusted resource and growth partner for independent design and build professionals seeking visibility, systems, and community.

📍 Current Status

Active – In the early stages of growth. Designers & Builders is being incubated inside BuilderGrowth with plans to expand into a productized community platform and consulting hub in late 2025.

Designers & Builders represents the next frontier for BuilderGrowth’s community-powered venture studio model.
It’s a bet on the growing cultural power of architects, designers, and builders—and the need to support them with tools, stories, and systems. As with Woodpreneur, it all starts with media, but ends in movement.
